His story
A banner, two hands, and a lot of heart.
"Give me the wall. I will give you a home that feels new."
Every morning, Mzee Daniel picks up his hand-made banner and walks the roads of Lavington. No office, no advert on the radio — just a sign that says exactly what he does: I do house painting. Call Daniel.
He has spent years with a brush in his hand, turning tired walls into rooms people are proud of. He believes in good preparation, clean edges, and leaving your compound tidier than he found it.
When a short video of Daniel and his banner went around online, many people asked the same thing: how can we reach him? This page is the answer. Now families, landlords, schools, churches and offices across Nairobi can find Daniel — even if they never pass him on the road.
If you have a wall that needs love, give the old man a call. You'll get honest work, a fair price, and a good story to tell.
